• These Terms of Service ('Terms') apply to visitors and users ('User') of the Law Blah website ('the Service').
  • Users of the Service acknowledge that information provided by the Service is not construed as legal advice and that any action taken by the User should be after discussing individual legal circumstances and issues with a practising Australian legal practitioner ('Lawyer').
  • When the User provides private information to the Service, the Service agrees not to share the User information with any third party other than for the purposes to connect the User with a Lawyer who can use the information to provide a free assessment ('Assessment').
  • By providing information to the service, the User consents to a Lawyer contacting them via phone or email in order to discuss the contents of the information provided by the User.
  • The User accepts that in requesting an Assessment, there is no obligation on the part of the Service to provide an Assessment.
  • Users of the Service warrant that that in using the Service for the purposes of an Assessment, the information provided is true and accurate to the best knowledge of the User.
  • The Service reserves its rights and may in its sole and absolute discretion, refuse to accept a request by a User for an Assessment.
  • The Service reserves its rights and may in its sole and absolute discretion, may with notice, charge the User a fee for use of the Service.
  • Users of the Service acknowledge that in requesting an Assessment, the Service merely facilitates an introduction to a Lawyer, and any Lawyer introduced to the User is not in the employment of the Service.
  • The Service shall not be liable to any person (whether in contract, tort or otherwise) for any loss or damage suffered, or that may be suffered, as a result of any act or omission, whether negligent or otherwise, by or on behalf of the Service in relation to the provision, suspension or termination of the Service, or any other matter or thing relating to this Agreement otherwise than what is implied or excluded by law.
  • Any copyright in the images on the Law Blah website vests in the Service. A person cannot reproduce or authorise the reproduction of a Law Blah images without our prior written approval. The User gives the Service the right to use any content uploaded or sent to the Service, subject to these Terms, for the purposes of improving the Service and its user experience.
  • The Service reserves a right to charge a fee for introducing the User to a Lawyer if the case has merit and the Lawyer accepts the User as a client.
  • The User of the service shall wholly indemnify the Service against any loss claim or damage whatsoever which the Service may suffer or incur as a result of any action, proceeding, claim, demand or prosecution arising from these Terms, the provision of legal advise from a Lawyer introduced for an Assessment, or any other matter or thing arising as a result of these Terms, including loss or damage arising from the negligent acts or omissions of the Service pursuant to these Terms.
  • All the rights, immunities and limitations of liability in these Terms shall continue to have their full force and effect in all circumstances notwithstanding any breach of contract or of any conditions hereof by the Service.
  • The Service may at any time, without cause, in our sole and absolute discretion, suspend either the Users use of the Service, or the service in its entirety or terminate these Terms and/or any approval granted to a User to use the Service. The Service expressly disclaims all conditions and warranties, express or implied, in respect of the Service, the information provided or introductions to a Lawyer for an Assessment. Where the law precludes such exclusion and implies certain conditions and warranties into these Terms, the liability of the Service for breach of such condition or warranty shall be limited, at the option of the Service, to any one or more of the following: supplying another introduction to a Lawyer where the Service can do so to its satisfaction that a Lawyer is available and appropriate to the information provided by the User in seeking an Assessment.
  • These Terms constitute the complete agreement between the User and the Service and are subject to the jurisdiction of Victoria, Australia.
